What Next? is a short black comedy film that is inspired by a Spike Milligan joke involving a 999 call operator and a panicked killer.

 

James Matthews worked as the sound recordist and sound editor of this film.

 

Funded by Creative Skillset and the BFI, What Next? was completed in April 2016 and had its first screening at the 2016 Visions Festival - during which James won the 'Award for Innovation in Sound' (see right). The award was presented by Val Kuklowsky.
